When life sucks, when you feel lonely. Body and mind remain intertwined. Take ethereal female vocals, add some synth bass and new wave guitar, and pour generously minimalist drum machine sounds. Mix it until it turns into a deeply melodic electro indie gem. Piece of mind gives hope to people with obsessive ruminations. The composition of Thousands of Poppies’ new track Piece of Mind began during Covid when Veronique transcribed her bad mood emotions into lyrics. Then started the rigorous research of the melody by Jody.
